Resumo:
This project investigates the path of a fledgling writer and his insertion in the arts circuit. Analyzing the different stages of the legitimation of Pedro Ícaro s texts throughout his life, distinct parts of his route are presented, always accompanied by a (self)critical comment, the birth of an author being observed not only in the literary but also in the social field. Various aspects of his literary life are examined: readings, writings, college, generational peers, publishing market, first book, literary newspapers, Internet, bookstores, literary events, the press, communication networks and readers. Details of the practices of the literary system are analyzed, highlighting the gap between the person who writes a text and the author, and the backstage aspects of that process. Taking real-life experiences as a point of departure, considerations are made on the basis of the imaginary record of situations lived by authors in the beginning of their careers. The focus is on the confluence between the object and the way how the research was developed, and so the thesis is written in literary form, in a number of genres, from the micropoem to the theoretical essay. Each section should be understood as a narrative, and also as a platform for raising questions on the subjects discussed. It is expected that the thesis will carry out the task of discussing some aspects of current literary politics and also work as a valid record for those who intend to study Pedro Ícaro or any other member of his generation, and what the literary practice of his time was like.
