[pt] Esta tese analisa a relação estreita entre corpo e escrita na trajetória artística de Lúcio Cardoso. Tal abordagem tem como foco principal o período entre 1962 e 1968, em que o escritor viveu com a sequela de um AVC, que paralisou todo o lado direito de seu corpo, atingindo substancialmente a fala e a escrita. Lúcio Cardoso tinha presença marcante pelo temperamento impulsivo e era dono de uma curiosidade intensa, chegando a incursionar por outras áreas culturais, como o teatro, o cinema e a pintura. Sua escrita refletia inquietude e desejo de sondar os mistérios da vida e da morte; por isso, provavelmente, dedicou-se de forma peculiar ao registro de diários. Já doente, verifica-se, através da observação de suas telas e sua escrita em detritos, a presença de energia capaz de burlar padrões e convenções estruturais da linguagem, fazendo romper uma nova escrita-corpo. Os exercícios de foniatria, as anotações esparsas e as composições plásticas trazem inscrita uma potente marca expressiva, salvaguarda de sua história em processo.
Resumo
[en] This dissertation analyzes the close relationship between body and writing in the artistic career of Lúcio Cardoso. This approach focuses primarily on the period between 1962 and 1968, when the author lived with the sequel of a stroke that paralyzed the entire right side of his body, impairing substantially his speech and writing. Lúcio Cardoso was known by his impulsive behavior, and had an intense curiosity, even in other cultural areas, such as drama, cinema and painting. His writing reflected his concern and desire for searching the mysteries of life and death; this probably led him to write diaries. After he got ill, though the observation of his paintings and loose writing one can feel the energy capable of breaking structural language patterns and conventions, thus creating a new body writing. The phoniatrics exercises, the notes and paintings show a powerful expressive mark, a guarantee of his on-going history.
