This dissertation aims to do a reading about the Brazilian Modernism through teh reciprocal correspondence exchanged by Mário de Andrade and Manuel Bandeira. It searches to understand the construction of this literary movement under the attentive looking done by these poets and messengers, as well as to perceive how this epistolary interchange proportioned some theories and concepts that are considered canonic nowadays, but formerly suscitated polemics and ruptures among the artists.
