Women presence in many different areas of Brazilian society is undoubtedly a recent conquest. It was only from the second half of twentieth century that doors opened to a series of activities that female population had no access before. With the entry of women into the job market, it was inevitable that they would occupy positions originally exclusive to the male universe. That includes the military institutions. The Army was the last Force in Brazil to allow the entry of women into its ranks, which occurred in 1992, twelve years after the pioneer Navy accepted its first set of female officers. Today women can be found them in the barracks playing multiple roles not only in headquarters or health units, but also (albeit in very small numbers) in operational military organizations and peacekeeping operations. Therefore, the present study aims to develop a research to capture how power relations are built at a given Brazilian Army effective, from the women inclusion in Supplementary Table of Officers in Army Administration School and examine, under what conditions are these professionals performances. In this context, the importance of recognizing the issues underlying the unique culture of the military is emphasized, considering essentially hierarchy and discipline as core values that permeate the military universe both in terms of the organization of the institution as the optical of social interaction between the militaries within it. Participated in this research five military women of different levels hierarchical at random, belonging to the technical staff of a military organization in Rio de Janeiro and subordinated to Eastern Military Command. In view of peculiar characteristics of military institutions with its pillars focused on discipline and hierarchy, it was decided to maintain the anonymity of the Military Organization chosen, since it could happen conflicts between the guarantee of an ethical freedom of approach to research and a need for appropriate procedures,
especially with regard to confidentiality of identification of the participant of the research. Regarding the methodological aspects of the research, the qualitative research was choosen, where the instruments used to collect data were the literature, the semi-structured interviews and participant observation. The data analysis pointed to the fact that, despite the existence of regulations that ensure equal treatment for both sexes, the subjective structure formed by the institutional principles influence systems of differentiation in the speech of its members, thereby enhancing the formation of occupation ghettos male and female perpetuating the idea of distinct profiles: the mannish profile necessarily for combatant military professional and a profile for the professional military technician.
