Resumo:
The Woman who did not kill the child - Childhood in the writing of Clarice Lispector deals with the power taken by childhood in the author s work. What does childhood represent in Lispector s writing? This study is based on the perception that the writer touches childhood not only when depicting it in her stories or when keeping up a dialogue with the readers of her child-teen books, but also when searching for a language that approaches the sensory, a language connecting speech and life. If childhood is a recurrent image in her writings, we will scrutinize it in its various manifestations.
