[pt] Este estudo tem como finalidade analisar a maneira como três figuras
paradigmáticas do rock no Brasil - Cazuza, Arnaldo Antunes e Lobão -
construíram suas identidades artísticas. Seguindo a trajetória desses
compositores, procuramos entender como eles se apropriaram de categorias
simbólicas nas entrelinhas da cultura e delas fizeram uso para a criação de suas
personas. Se os roqueiros mencionados compartilham a linguagem do rock
dos anos 80, eles apresentam diferenças, entretanto, quanto à maneira de se
colocarem no mundo artístico. Levamos em consideração, quanto a esse aspecto,
que a construção identitária pressupõe a recorrência a determinadas tradições -
no caso, artísticas -, que são constantemente ressignificadas. Procurei, portanto,
entender ao longo da pesquisa, como as questões culturais de seu tempo se
revelam na trajetória desses atores, assim como os repertórios legados pelo
passado, na medida em que os três músicos, cada um à sua maneira, dialogam
com tradições específicas.
Resumo
[en] This study aims to analyze how three paradigmatic figures of rock in
Brazil - Cazuza, Arnaldo Antunes and Lobão - have built their identities.
Following the trajectory of these composers, we tried to understand how they
got hold of symbolic categories in the underlines of culture and have used them
to create their personas. If the rockers mentioned share the language of the
brazilian rock of the 80s, they differ, however, as to how to put themselves in
the art world. We took into consideration in this regard, that construction of
identity implies the recurrence of certain traditions - in this case, artistic - that
are constantly resignified. We projected, therefore, to understand the course of
research, such as cultural issues of their time to reveal the trajectory of these
actors, as well as the repertoire bequeathed by the past, insofar as the three
musicians, each in its own way, dialogue with specific traditions.
