The survey was conducted in the cities of São Gonçalo, Niterói and Rio de Janeiro. The sample was formed by 30 residential customers of the low-voltage grid. The goal was to measure the use of electric shower in residences during the winter, comparing the information that was declared in the survey about the use of the electric shower with its real measurement. All respondents lived in houses. The survey was conducted between August and September 2014. A device was installed in the electric shower of the residences for a period of 8 days to measure its use. The measurements were collected every 5 minutes. Information of the ownership of electrical equipment was also collected.
