The present thesis examines the cinematographic work of
Lucrecia Martel,
Argentinean contemporary director, investigating the
proposed aesthetics of her
films, thoroughly grounded in the idea of ruin and
experience. From the initial
notions of the body as instrument of thought, and of the
experience of the sensible
and of existence, the thesis observes how Lucrecia Martel
confers new vigor to
the field of subjectivity.
