[pt] Nascido sob o signo da ruptura e no meio de um turbulento
período de transformações pelo qual passava o gênero
samba, na
virada da década de 1920 para a década de 1930, o samba-
enredo
surge, e se confunde, junto com um novo estilo de samba
que passa a
responder às necessidades exigidas por uma nova forma de
expressão
estética do samba e do carnaval, o desfile dos blocos
(mais tarde
escolas de samba). Entendendo, então, o samba-enredo como
uma
construção ligada diretamente ao carnaval e ao seu par, a
escola de
samba, e ainda como portador de uma linguagem específica,
vinculada
a uma cultura própria, observamos que ao longo de sua
existência, mais
notadamente nas últimas décadas, este samba vem se
descaracterizando em sua forma e conteúdo. Dentro deste
contexto é
objetivo central desta dissertação buscar as prováveis
origens destas
transformações e comprovar até que ponto elas se
constituem num
processo de crise que pode levar ao desaparecimento do
sambaenredo,
pelo menos na sua forma mais tradicional.
Resumo
[en] Been born under the sign of the rupture and in the way of a
turbulent period of transformations for which it passed
the sort samba, in
the turn of the decade of 1920 for the decade of 1930, the
samba-enredo
appears, and it confuses, with a new style of samba that
starts to answer
to the necessities demanded for a new form of aesthetic
expression of
the samba and the carnival, the parade of the blocks
(later samba
schools). Understanding, then, the samba-enredo as a
construction
directly to the carnival and its pair, the samba school,
and still as
carrying of a specific language, tied with a proper
culture, we observe
that throughout its existence, principally in the last
decades, this samba
comes depriving of characteristics in its form and
content. Inside of this
context the central objective of this work is to search
the probable origins
of these transformations and to prove until point they
changed
themselves into a process of crisis that can lead to the
disappearance of
the samba-enredo, at least in their traditional form.
