[pt] A questão de gênero constitui-se como uma dimensão relevante da sociedade contemporânea, sendo considerada atualmente como um processo complexo e multifacetado de construção das identidades individuais e coletivas. Nesse sentido, torna-se pertinente abordar a categoria de gênero em relação às instituições militares brasileiras, que sempre foram espaços tradicionalmente masculinos, onde políticas de ação afirmativa, relativamente recentes, impuseram a presença feminina em alguns quadros de caráter técnico, impondo, somente a partir da Lei n 12705, de 08 de agosto de 2012, a inserção das mulheres na linha bélica, como combatentes, em condições e níveis de acesso a serem determinados pelas Forças Armadas. A inserção das mulheres na linha bélica complementa um movimento mais amplo de integração das Forças Armadas à sociedade brasileira. Nessa perspectiva, este trabalho pretende investigar um aspecto ainda não devidamente explorado pelos pesquisadores do campo militar: a contribuição da mulher militar no processo de diluição das fronteiras entre a corporação militar e a sociedade civil brasileira. Para tal, este estudo realizou um SURVEY sobre a presença feminina no Exército, caracterizando aspectos socioprofissionais de oficiais homens e mulheres militares, além das diversas facetas do seu habitus de gênero, que incluem atitudes em relação a temas de cunho político, da vida privada e da inserção da mulher na linha bélica, juntamente com entrevistas, com oficiais instrutores dos cursos de quadros, armas e serviços da Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN), enfatizando aspectos diversos de seu habitus de gênero, que aprofundam os temas abordados no SURVEY.

[en] The gender issue is a relevant aspect of the contemporary society; and, is now considered a complex, multifaceted process in the formation of individual and collective identities. In this sense, it is predicative to associate the gender category to the Brazilian military institutions, which have traditionally been malepredominant spaces, and, in which, recently, affirmative actions have imposed the feminine presence in some technical positions, which has made women insertion in ordnance section necessary only after Bill no.12705, of August 8th of 2012, as combatants, under the conditions and access levels to be determined by the Armed Forces. In this perspective, this paper aims to investigate a poorly explored aspect in the military research field: the contribution of the military women in the process of weakening the barriers between the military corporations and the Brazilian civil society. For this matter, this study has employed a survey about the feminine presence in the Army, describing the occupational aspects of the male officials and the military women s lives, as well as the multiple facets of their gender habitus, which include their attitude towards certain topics, such as:politics, private life, and women insertion in the ordnance section; besides that, it was used the technique of focal groups with official instructors from the branch (army organization) courses of the Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN), stressing different characteristics of their gender habitus, thus deepening the topics discussed in the survey.
