[pt] Centrada sobre a investigação crítica de uma obra de Carlos Drummond de Andrade – o livro Uma pedra no meio do caminho: biografia de um poema – a dissertação Um pequeno experimento metacrítico: o poema da pedra de Carlos Drummond de Andrade oferece uma discussão inovadora sobre a configuração, a autoria e possíveis limites da escrita historiográfica. O referido livro pode ser lido como singela auto-atribuição de um lugar na história da literatura brasileira por parte do poeta que, participando ativamente da vida intelectual e artística do seu tempo, cuidou também do seu próprio arquivo ao registrar a recepção de sua obra poética. O livro, publicado em 1967, reúne variado material crítico acerca da repercussão do poema No meio do caminho (1928) que provocou uma gama de reações positivas e negativas, desde a sua aceitação entusiasmada à rejeição violenta em função de seu caráter estético formal inovador. No horizonte desta questão, e ancorada em repertórios teóricos da estética da recepção e de propostas alternativas de historiografia, a dissertação discute a possibilidade de entender as obra drummondiana como experimento de uma história da literatura em expansão, que atravessa as fronteiras entre biografia, autobiografia e escrita historiográfica.

[en] Focusing on a critical investigation of a Carlos Drummond de Andrade s work – the book Uma pedra no meio do caminho: biografia de um poema – the dissertation A brief metacritical experiment: the poem of the stone by Carlos Drummond de Andrade offers an innovating discussion about the configuration, the authorship and possible limits of historiographical writing. The mentioned book can be read as an unique self-attribution of a place in Brazilian literature history by the poet himself, who vigorously participating of the intellectual and artistic life of his time, took care of his own archive by registering the reception of his poetic work. The book, published in 1967, assembles diverse critical material about the repercussion of the poem No meio do caminho (1928) which provoked a range of positive and negative reactions from enthusiastic acceptance to violent rejection due to its aesthetical innovative formal feature. Anchored on theoretical repertoire of the Reception Aesthetics and of the historiography alternative proposals, this dissertation discusses the possibility of understanding the drummondian work as experiment of a history of literature in expansion, which goes beyond the borders of biography, autobiography and historiographical writing.
