Resumo:
This Bachelor s Thesis addresses the assessment of industrial energy efficiency and productivity through an integrated methodology that combines Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA-SBM) with the Malmquist Productivity Index. The work seeks to validate the practical applicability of this methodological approach as a tool for analyzing industrial performance, capable of providing both static and dynamic efficiency measures. The application was conducted on a case study in a plastic industry, allowing for the identification of operational benchmarks and decomposition of productivity changes into components of technical efficiency and technological progress, demonstrating the robustness of the methodology for real industrial contexts.
