This study analyzes the possibilities for institutional strengthening of the Núcleo de Estudo e Ação Mundo da Juventude (NEAM), a community outreach program at PUC-Rio focused on the education of socially vulnerable youth. Based on theoretical frameworks related to the third sector, education, and citizenship, the research aims to understand how NEAM can become a sustainable and replicable model. The qualitative methodology included interviews with staff, volunteers, and alumni, highlighting the program s key role in offering support, training, and opportunities. Main challenges include limited physical space, lack of a permanent technical team, and absence of strategic planning. The study recommends the development of a more structured organization with project management, institutional communication, and fundraising strategies.
