This Undergraduate Thesis (TCC) is structured as a case study and
investigates the creation and development of an original NFT project entitled
23incities, from a practical and analytical perspective. Framed within the context
of blockchain technologies and digital assets, the study aims to demonstrate how an
independent project can be conceived, structured, and launched within a new and
increasingly globalized digital ecosystem. Its main objective is to report and reflect
on the technical, creative, and strategic stages involved in the conception of
23incities, which transforms spontaneous urban photographs into non-fungible
tokens and, in this configuration, into cultural products. The work engages with the
field of International Relations by addressing the global circulation of digital assets
and the cultural connections fostered by emerging technologies. Thus, it seeks to
contribute both to the academic debate on NFTs and their connections to
International Relations, and to offer new perspectives for those interested in
launching creative projects within this universe, which can be analyzed through the
lens of International Relations.
