Resumo:
Kiyosaki (1997) presents two models of reasoning in his book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad. This paper seeks to verify which type of mindset the new adults (younglings) of the city of Rio de Janeiro are inclined to follow. The difference is that in addition to a portfolio composition, the interviewed also responds to a questionnaire with assertions used by the author to characterize each type of thinking. A comparative analysis concluded that: most respondents have a Rich Dad profile; that people don t have a good knowledge of their profile; that men are more prone to the Rich Dad profile than women; that people who already invest are more inclined to the Rich Dad profile than those who have no investment.
