Resumo:
The world is going through an environmental crisis and the main responsible is the man. The excess of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission leads, among other consequences, to the global warming phenomenon. One of biggest contributors in the emission of GEE is the energy sector. The main energy source in the world is the coal and its burn is more pollutant than petroleum-based sources. Following the mindset of sustainable development, in last decades, many technologies based on renewable energies have been developed. However, most of them is only feasible depending on the geographic characteristics of the site in which they would be installed. In this project, based on studies of harvest energy, it will be performed the simulation of a piezoelectric device composed by floor, calcium and piezoelectric materials, which have the capacity to convert mechanic in electric tension and vice-versa. In this device, tension generated by the force exerted by pedestrians while walking will be converted in to an electric tension. Posteriorly, this tension will be transformed in an useful source of energy that will enable the alimentation of low power equipments, instead of being dissipated as it usually happens That type of energy does not required any specific environmental parameter in site to be installed, only of a big flux people is needed.
