Resumo: | |||||||||||||
A motorcycle s vertical dynamics can be modelled based on a physical model that represents it. From the generated mathematical model, it is possible to analyze the system s behavior in order to understand how the vertical dynamics are held and how a change in the components affect the system s behavior. Hence, it is relevant to develop a procedure to model the physical system in a way that relevant analysis may be carried out to verify how the vertical dynamics are influenced by variations on certain components. This project proposes a method to equate a mathematical model based on a bond graph, which represents the physical model, along with appropriate matrix transformations to reach the system in Lagrangian variables. Procedures based on the characteristic polynomial and the system s transfer functions were developed and adapted to obtain the Root Locus and the Bode diagrams, aiming to analyze the system s roots and frequency response. These procedures were elaborated aiming to study the variation of parameters associated with certain components, based on the real values encountered in motorcycles. The results for the carried-out procedures were promising, as were the results found for the change in parameters. Not only were the procedures successfully developed and implemented, but the results gathered also presented a certain level of influence on the system associated with each parameter s variation.
