Resumo:
The objective of this work is to obtain the deflections of a kart rear axle. Initially the analytical treatment will be developed, using the Euler-Bernoulli model, for analysis of deflection on a kart rear axle in static conditions, with loading from situations vehicle dynamics (acceleration, braking and stationary curves). Simulta-neously, these results will be compared with simulations in Finite Element pro-grams in order to validate them and acquire the necessary reliability in the use of these computational tools, in order to use them in load situations (combination of efforts) and / or geometry (positioning and support types). Finally, it will be evalu-ated, from the results found in the simulations, which load situation is the most critical, as well as the best intervention to be performed in the axis in order to im-prove its performance in the main analyzed aspects.
