The objective of this work is to understand the profiles of swimmers. The analysis allows to identify the forms and degrees of involvement with the sport, as well as the motivations and impediments to the practice of this modality. Therefore, the research was carried out in two stages. The first exploratory step was that of three swimming professionals. In the second stage, 331 people, practitioners or not, answered about the consumption of products, services and information related to swimming. Mapping and understanding of consumer market profiles should be considered for decision-making and consumer decision-making, clubs, confederations, between-firms and professionals working in the sports market segment.
