Resumo:
The present work aims to introduce a quantitative analysis of the contracted demand with the electricity distribution company by high voltage consumers under different regulatory aspects. ANEEL ruling REN414/2010 states that the consumer can only reduce once during a 12-month period the monthly contracted demand and establishes a non-continuous penalty charge for overpassing the contracted demand among its general conditions for electricity supply. These two rulings were modified in the simulations performed and the impact for the consumer of these alterations was analyzed. This study was conducted by a stochastic optimization model of the contracted demand developed in the software Xpress using forecast scenarios generated by a Monte Carlo simulation based on the time series of the maximum monthly demand of a certain consumer.
