Resumo:
Learning objects are a powerful tool for students and educators, especially if used in the context of higher education. Although there is no clear consensus on the exact definition of what a learning object is, the concept is simple: a collection of components, digital or not, that help the learning process, and that can be reused and shared. With the evolution of technology, the production and expansion of digital learning objects is growing, such that there are already several resources for indexing and archiving an ever-growing library of objects, targeted to the most diverse subjects and themes. The use of learning objects is of extreme importance to the speeding up of learning in a society where time is growing more precious every day. By compacting concepts, examples and theories in accessible and simple formats, the efficiency of the learning process is increased severalfold, allowing for a better usage of the student’s time and a more competitive learning process. The theory of linear electrical circuits is one of the pillars of study in Electrical Engineering, of great importance to all its sub-areas of knowledge. Therefore, in view of the value of learning objects for the development of modern education, an interactive book was produced, in itself a learning objects, but also containing several sub-objects within itself, covering all the basic subjects within linear electrical circuits.
