This Electric Engineering Undergraduate Project presents a descriptive analysis of stand-by circuitry electric energy consumption in domestic households. This analysis makes use of the Pesquisa de Posses e Hábitos (Habits and Ownership Research) that gathers information about the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwestern Brazil in partnership with their respective energy distributors AMPLA, COELCE, and CEB. The data gathered by use of the low voltage habits and ownership research form allow a thorough analysis of the power consumption habits of domestic households. Through use of the gathered data, average stand-by energy consumption percentages will be calculated, separated by geographical region, and into distinct consumption tiers.
