Os Binômios são fórmulas fraseológicas fixas, formadas por dois elementos da mesma classe gramatical, unidos por um elo gramatical, geralmente uma preposição ou uma conjunção. O artigo trata da análise de diferentes exemplos de binômios e os mecanismos que regem a seleção e a organização de seus elementos, por meio de um corpus de 170 exemplos presentes no léxico da língua portuguesa do Brasil.
