Abstract: | |||||||||||||||||||||||
This class presents the RLC circuit operating as a low-pass filter; the output is the voltage in the capacitor. Quantitative and qualitative analysis are performed. The concept of resonance is introduced to address the situation under which a passive circuit, operating in the sinusoidal steady-state, can yield a voltage or current gain.
