At first, it was undertaken an study of Winnicott s theory on the primitive emotional development which comprehended the creative processes from the mother/child relationship point of view and its extension to transitional objects and phenomena and to the cultural experience. In order to better understand the complex ways of existence in our time, a dialogue between philosophy and Winnicott s theory was sought. Depression and aggressiveness were instruments for the analysis of the way in which the Sociohistorical Context affects our subjective constitution. Being influenced by forces that are external to it and that come to be part of it, subjectivity may also be considered from its creative processes, which are inherent in life. Thus, to resist is possible, and by resisting we can make the world a better place to live in.
