|
This work consists in analyzing the effectiveness of the project of modernization and adaptation of a container terminal located at the Port of Rio de Janeiro by the quantitative method, data envelopment analysis (DEA). The project was used to compare the current structure of the terminal with the designed structure, based on outputs as the number of containers handled and the number of containers handled on the stay of ships in port, which will be designed by the analysis of sector demand and a simulation study in Arena software.
