Resumo: | |||||||||||||
This dissertation challenges the hegemonic way of visioning old age, and then suggests a creative object, a book, that should enable a new perspective on the theme. Through a theoretical analysis of the concept of old age, as well as other related concepts such as death, time, memory and body, it is understood how
the Self is subjectivized under the shadow of God, as viewed in hegemonic thought, and how the opening up to a new configuration of Self stems from the death of God, announced by Nietzsche. Considering the epistemological change observed in the theoretical analysis, and hijacking the perspective of a lesser
literature, as suggested by Deleuze and Guattarri in their essay Kafka – For a lesser literature – the book Precariousness Almanac was created. Its intention is to create a buzz in the narrative scene, in order to reveal the deterritorialization of the subjects in it represented, in such a way as not to appease the discomfort of the theme, but to propose escape lines, a method of resistance. The format that was
chosen to reach this goal was that of working with a collection of text fragments, the latter of which flirt with the author s death in Barthes, in a tessitura of cut and paste elaborated by the author, at her own risk. An attempt to include the plurality of approaches that the subject suffers in the process of ageing, often paradoxical ones.
