This works is a legal theory one. As the title suggests, its goal is to expose
some aspects of the opposition between natural law theory and legal positivism in
the contemporary scenario. It take as reference the reiterpretation of the natural
law theory by John Mitchell Finnis and his dialogue with the contemporary legal
positivism. Indeed, it does not pretend to demonstrate that the debate between the
two currents is definitely closed, but its purpose is to clarify concepts and attempt
to remove some misconceptions that permeate it.
