Resumo:
Gender and sexuality subjects have become central to the contemporary political and educational debates and impact the multiple pedagogical activities developed daily in schools. On the other hand, they nevertheless reflects on Teacher Training and how teachers deal with these topics. In this sense, our qualitative research sought to understand how Pedagogy curricul approach gender and sexuality subjects in Teacher Qualification. Therefore, we problematized and developed a theoretical dialogue on the spaces occupied by gender and sexuality themes and their relevance for qualifying teachers. We chose to investigate UERJ and UNIRIO, since both endue mandatory school subjects whose abstracts clearly seek to work on these themes. As a methodological path, we developed a documentary and content analysis of the courses political projects, their abstracts and the programs of the referred school subjects, having interviewed four (4) professors in each university. Our theoretical references rely on Michel Foucault, Joan Scott, Judith Butler, Guacira Lopes Louro, in addition to others on Teacher Training area. As conclusion, it´s possible to affirm that (1) in the Pedagogy courses we can find intersectional practices and investments that lead to a parallel curriculum if compared to the official one found in the documents and (2) university professors place themselves regarding these themes throught categories such as: Articulation with the Documents; Political Policies; Religion and LGBTphobia; Public Policy; Approaches to Themes; and Teaching Profession Challenges. This reality constitutes a current demand for the conceiving of a pedagogy conception for respect and affirming diversity.
