[pt] O artigo enfoca a apresentação dos detentos, em Estação
Carandiru, antes da reprodução de suas falas. O objetivo é mostrar que essa introdução faz com que as vozes ressoem na narrativa a partir de um lugar insólito. Isso porque, na caracterização
das pessoas ouvidas, Drauzio Varella recorre a um modelo sintático comum em obituários. Indica-se como a estratégia narrativa
vincula o livro a testemunhos escritos em decorrência do massacre de 1992.
Resumo
[en] The work focuses on the presentation by Estação Carandiru of
the inmates before the reproduction of their voices. The aim is to
show that this type of introduction makes the voices resonate from
a strange place. The reason is that, in the caracterization of those
figures heard, Drauzio Varella uses a syntatic pattern common in
obituaries. The article argues how this narrative strategy links the
book to written testimonies on the 1992 massacre.
