[pt] Este trabalho visa discorrer sobre O prisioneiro da grade de ferro
enquanto canalizador de vozes marginalizadas. Rodado no presídio
do Carandiru em 2002, o filme resulta da colaboração entre uma
equipe de filmagens profissional e os próprios presos. Como queriam autores como Gayatri Spivak, os que se encontram em uma posição subalterna tomam para si um espaço dentro da obra, sem depender de uma representação inteiramente realizada por terceiros.
Resumo
[en] This work aims to discuss The prisoner of the iron bars as an aggregator of marginalized voices. Shot at the Carandiru prison back in
2002, the film is the product of a shared effort between a professional cinema crew and the prison s actual inmates. As intended
by authors such as Gayatri Spivak, those who found themselves in
a subaltern position in society take over the film, without the need
of being represented entirely by outsiders.
