[pt] A tese de doutorado Geodireito Territorial: Abordagem Epistemológica para a Justiça Espacial propõe uma análise sobre a interseção entre direito e geografia, visando contribuir para o campo emergente do Geodireito. A pesquisa surge diante da necessidade crescente de abordar questões habitacionais sob aspectos jurídicos e territoriais que legitimem o uso do solo exercido por grupos que disputam a centralidade urbana, como as ocupações urbanas. A tese persegue a hipótese da possibilidade de um alinhamento teórico-metodológico que formule o Geodireito Territorial, uma base epistemológica que agrega aspecto territoriais com a coercitividade do direito. Os objetivos incluem o desenvolvimento deste arranjo epistemológico, e a apresentação de casos referência que ilustram os efeitos da incidência jurídica nas localidades do Centro do Rio de Janeiro-RJ. A metodologia adotada combina elementos de pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental e pesquisa participante, utilizando observações feitas em trabalhos de campo. O Mapa do Geodireito Territorial surge como um produto (em formato de mapa mental) que funciona como ferramenta prática para a formulação de agendas políticas de grupos em situação de disputa territorial. A tese contribui para a academia e movimentos sociais que buscam a justiça espacial, ao explorar o conhecimento interdisciplinar para a elaboração de uma base epistemológica que integra conceitos jurídicos e geográficos caros à análise de problemáticas territoriais.

[en] The doctoral thesis Territorial Geo-Law: An Epistemological Approach to Spatial Justice proposes an analysis of the intersection between law and geography, with the aim of contributing to the emerging field of Geo-Law. The research arises from the growing need to address housing issues from a legal and territorial perspective that legitimizes the use of land exercised by groups that dispute urban centrality, such as urban occupations. The thesis pursues the hypothesis of the possibility of a theoretical-methodological alignment that formulates Territorial Geo-Law, an epistemological basis that aggregates territorial aspects with the coerciveness of law. The objectives include the development of this epistemological arrangement, and the presentation of reference cases that illustrate the effects of legal incidence in the localities of the Center of Rio de Janeiro-RJ. The methodology adopted combines elements of bibliographical research, documentary analysis and participant research, using observations made in fieldwork. The Map of Territorial Geo-Law emerges as a product (in mind map format) that works as a practical tool for formulating political agendas for groups in situations of territorial dispute. The thesis contributes to academia and social movements seeking spatial justice by exploring interdisciplinary knowledge to develop an epistemological basis that integrates legal and geographical concepts that are important for analyzing territorial issues.
