[pt] A Constituição Dogmática Dei Verbum do Concílio Ecumênico Vaticano II ensina sobre a revelação divina. Neste artigo, será explicada uma pequena (mas substanciosa) parte desta Constituição, em seu número dois. Ela será esboçada sob os dois pontos do artigo. O primeiro se chama: A revelação de Deus foi fruto de sua vontade. O segundo se chama: Por meio de Cristo, os seres humanos têm acesso, no Espírito, ao Pai. O desenvolvimento desses pontos são as próprias cláusulas de cada ideia usada pela Dei Verbum. No artigo, as citações de diversos autores auxiliam no embasamento e compreensão do texto, trazendo à luz a riqueza do pensamento católico. A Dei Verbum enfatiza que a revelação divina é a autocomunicação de Deus ao ser humano, visando tornar Deus conhecido. Essa revelação foi feita em bondade e sabedoria divinas. Ao se revelar, Deus fez conhecer o mistério de sua vontade, descortinou sua face em Cristo e apresentou seu plano de salvação. O artigo enfatiza o importante fato de que toda a Trindade Santa esteve envolvida na revelação: Deus, por meio de Cristo e do Espírito, se revela ao ser humano, tornando-o capaz de ser participante da natureza divina.

[en] The Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council teaches about divine revelation. This article will explain a small (but substantial) part of this Constitution, in its number two. It will be outlined under the two points of the article. The first is called: God s revelation was the fruit of his will. The second is called: Through Christ, human beings have access, in the Spirit, to the Father. The development of these points are the clauses of each idea used by Dei Verbum. In the article, quotes from various authors help to support and understand the text, bringing to light the richness of Catholic thought. Dei Verbum emphasizes that divine revelation is God s self-communication to human beings, aiming to make God known. This revelation was made in divine goodness and wisdom. By revealing himself, God made known the mystery of his will, unveiled his face in Christ, and presented his plan of salvation. The article emphasizes the important fact that the entire Holy Trinity was involved in revelation: God, through Christ and the Spirit, reveals himself to human beings, making them capable of participating in the divine nature.
