[pt] O presente trabalho pretende investigar a noção de objeto a – tal como formulada por Lacan em seu Seminário livro 10, A angústia – à luz de algumas passagens e elementos narrativos extraídos da tetralogia A amiga genial, de Elena Ferrante. A hipótese desta investigação é a de que o estudo do duplo papel do objeto a, entre deflagrador de angústia e causador de desejo, pode ser beneficiado pelo recurso à ficção ferranteana. Sob esta perspectiva, inicialmente, percorremos as incursões de Freud e Lacan na aproximação entre arte e psicanálise, de modo a definir um método no enlace entre os dois campos. Além disso, apresentamos a escritora Elena Ferrante, destacando aspectos singulares de seu fazer literário, bem como as coordenadas principais de sua tetralogia napolitana. Em seguida, após a introdução da noção de objeto a, sua faceta angustiante é abordada na relação com o corpo, a partir de um fenômeno que acomete uma das personagens do romance, a desmarginação. Por fim, o exame das nuances da amizade narrada por Ferrante permite a discussão da função de causa de desejo do pequeno a lacaniano, deslocando a desmarginação de seu sentido inicial.

[en] The present work intends to investigate the notion of objet petit a – as forged by Lacan in his 10th Seminar, The anguish – in the light of some passages and narrative elements extracted from the tetralogy My brilliant friend, by Elena Ferrante. The hypothesis of this investigation is that the study of the double role of the objet petit a, between triggering anguish and causing desire, can benefit from the use of Ferrantean fiction. From this perspective, initially, we covered the forays of Freud and Lacan into the rapprochement between art and psychoanalysis, in order to define a method to link the two fields. Furthermore, we present the writer Elena Ferrante, highlighting unique aspects of her literary work, as well as the main coordinates of her Neapolitan tetralogy. Then, after introducing the notion of objet petit a, its anguishing facet is addressed in connection with the body, based on a phenomenon that affects one of the characters in the novel, the smarginatura. Finally, the examination of the nuances present in the friendship narrated by Ferrante allows us to discuss the objet petit a function of causing desire, thus displacing the smarginatura from its initial meaning.
