[pt] Neste trabalho foram avaliadas as possibilidades da aplicação da proposta
de Goodman, Gerber e Soderberg para equivalências entre tensões em
carregamentos não reversíveis e totalmente reversíveis.
Corpos de prova do aço estrutural DIN 34CrNiMo6 foram usinadas com
geometrias em conformidade com passagem de ondas ultrassônicas pelas
amostras. Em sequência estes corpos de prova foram submetidos à duas
séries distintas de carregamento; uma com tensão média diferente de zero
(carregamento não reversível) e outra com tensões equivalentes para
tensão média igual a zero (carregamento totalmente reversível).
Os resultados mostraram que o modelo de Goodman apresentou uma
maior aplicabilidade para Mega e Giga ciclos de carregamentos (10 elevado a 6
- 10 elevado a 9 ciclos), seguido do modelo de Soderberg e, por fim, Gerber

[en] This work,evaluated the applicability of Goodman, Gerber and Sonderberg
proposal for equivalente stresses in non-reversible and fully reversible loads
were evaluated.
Specimens of DIN 34CrNiMo6 structural steel were machined with
geometries in accordance with the passage of ultrasonic waves through the
samples. Subsequently, these specimens were subjected to two distinct
loading series; one with non-zero mean stress (non-reversed stress) and
another with equivalent stresses for mean stress equal to zero (completely
reversed stress).
The results indicated that Goodman s model has a higher applicability for
Mega and Giga load cycles (10 raised to 6
- 10 raised to 9 cycles), followed by Soderberg s
model and, finally, Gerber s.
