[pt] Estou a uma década de completar 60 anos de idade, portanto, segundo Tomiko Born, amiga de Rubem Alves, ainda não posso usar um blazer vermelho e, pior do que isso, ainda não posso todas as coisas. Por exemplo, não posso publicar um artigo sem nenhuma palavra, a fim de evidenciar a importância do silêncio, tanto na educação (elogio ao esquecimento) como na teologia (aproximação do Mistério). Em contrapartida, não quero me perder nas muitas letras que podem nos fazer delirar. O mundo contemporâneo convive com o excesso de informações e opiniões. O que eu quero é o espanto (admiração e susto) em face da vida e da leitura que empreendo do corpus bibliográfico alvesiano. Neste artigo, destaco o livro O poeta, o guerreiro, o profeta, notadamente o primeiro capítulo, intitulado Desaprendendo, para o qual construí apontamentos como chave de leitura. Portanto, em diálogo com Rubem Alves, desejo recorrer às palavras – é o que nos resta para acessar a Palavra – a fim de recompor o sentido próprio da experiência (aquilo que nos toca). Sonho, ainda, com a sapiência que nos permita desaprender o que nos foi ensinado. Os abismos estão aí, é preciso que nos lancemos neles.

[en] I am a decade away from turning 60, so, according to Tomiko Born, a friend of Rubem Alves, I still cannot wear a red blazer and, worse than that, I still cannot do everything. For example, I cannot publish an article without a single word to highlight the importance of silence, both in education (praise to oblivion) and in theology (approaching the Mystery). On the other hand, I do not want to get lost in the many letters that can make us delirious. The contemporary world coexists with an excess of information and opinions. I want astonishment (admiration and fright) in the face of life and the reading I undertake of Alves bibliographic corpus. In this article, I highlight the book The Poet, the Warrior, the Prophet, notably the first chapter, Desaprendendo (Unlearning), for which I made notes as a reading key. Therefore, in dialogue with Rubem Alves, I want to resort to words – that is all we have left to access the Word – to recompose the very meaning of experience (what touches us). I still dream of the wisdom that allows us to unlearn what we have been taught. The abysses are there; we must throw ourselves into them.
