[pt] Pretendo com estas notas destacar e refletir a respeito
do que aqui designo como uma antropologia
primoleviana, que bem pode ser inscrita na
fórmula brechtiana “o quê mantém um homem
vivo?. Para tal, parto da detecção de dois padrões
antropológicos presentes na escrita de Primo Levi:
um de natureza negativa e outro de natureza construtivista.
A apresentação de tais padrões será precedida
de uma menção à função textual e cognitiva
da arte de fazer perguntas e à natureza dos experimentos
cognitivos, como condições necessárias
para dizer do mundo. Por fim, acrescentarei uma
rápida e provisória nota a respeito das afinidades
entre a antropologia primoleviana e o construtivismo
do filósofo norte-americano Nelson Goodman.
Resumo
[en] With these notes, I intend to highlight and reflect on what I have dubbed as a primolevian anthropology, which may be taken as an echo of the Brechtian formula what keeps a man alive?. To this end, I depart from the detection of two anthropological patterns both present in Primo Levi s writing: one of a negative nature and the other of a constructivist bent. The presentation of such standards will be preceded by a mention of the textual and cognitive function of the art of asking questions and the nature of cognitive experiments, as necessary conditions for speaking about the world. Finally, I will add a quick and tentative note regarding some possible affinities between primolevian anthropology and the constructivist perspective as developed by the American philosopher, Nelson Goodman (1906-1998).
