[pt] Este estudo busca identificar as competências interculturais desenvolvidas a partir da percepção de estudantes formados em Administração de empresas pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO) que realizaram intercâmbio acadêmico de longa duração. Para atingir esse objetivo, o estudo foi realizado considerando as dimensões da competência intercultural (ROSS et al., 2009 e GUEDES NETO et al., 2016). De acordo com o relato dos estudantes foram identificadas falas que indicaram o desenvolvimento das seis dimensões da competência intercultural, tendo em vista que os entrevistados demonstraram adaptabilidade para lidar com os desafios ao longo do intercâmbio, buscaram também estar engajado com os estudantes locais e internacionais, buscando compreender e respeitar a perspectiva cultural desses estudantes e encontrar conexões com eles, além de também controlar suas emoções ao lidar com conflitos.

[en] This study aims to identify the intercultural competences developed based on the perception of students who graduated in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO) and participated in long-term academic exchange programs. To achieve this objective, the study considered the dimensions of intercultural competence (ROSS et al., 2009 and GUEDES NETO et al., 2016). According to the students accounts, statements were identified that indicated the development of the six dimensions of intercultural competence. The interviewees demonstrated adaptability in dealing with challenges throughout the exchange program and actively engaged with both local and international students, seeking to understand and respect their cultural perspectives and establish connections with them. Furthermore, they also exhibited emotional control when dealing with conflicts.
