Resumo
[pt] O artigo examina os dilemas vivenciados por crianças
e adolescentes deportados para Auschwitz ou
nascidos no campo, sobre os quais há fontes testemunhais.
O texto analisa a narrativa de uma
exposição temporária organizada no Memorial da
Resistência Alemã, em Berlim, no ano de 2015, comemorativa
dos 70 anos da libertação do campo de
extermínio. A citada exposição, intitulada Nunca
esqueça seu nome: as crianças de Auschwitz, baseou-
se nas informações do livro homônimo de
Alwin Mayer (Vergiss deinen Namen nicht. Die
Kinder von Auschwitz, 2015), ambas ilustrativas do
tema, com sólida informação, porém desprovidas
de análise crítica. Analisar a experiência destes sobreviventes,
seja no campo, seja depois da libertação,
é o objetivo principal deste artigo, teoricamente
inspirado no conceito de zona cinzenta presente
na obra de Primo Levi.
Resumo
[en] The article examines the dilemmas experienced by children and adolescents deported to Auschwitz or born in the camp, about which there are testimonial sources. The text analyzes the narrative of a temporary exhibition organized at the German Resistance Memorial, in Berlin, in 2015, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the extermination camp. The mentioned exhibition, entitled Never forget your name: the children of Auschwitz, was based on information from the book of the same name by Alwin Mayer (Vergiss deinen Namen nicht. Die Kinder von Auschwitz, 2015), both illustrative of the theme, with solid information, but without critical analysis. Analyzing the experience of these survivors, whether in the camp or after the liberation, is the main objective of this article, thoretically inspired by the concepts of the gray zone present in Primo Levi s works.
