[pt] As inovações provenientes da transformação digital (TD) vêm sendo perseguidas por vários setores e se tornaram a base da nova infraestrutura digital da sociedade. Contudo, muitos conceitos e definições são apresentados para TD, tornado o entendimento muito confuso. Em paralelo a TD, estão as tecnologias digitais que têm apresentado uma nova ótica para as estratégias e processos de negócios, produtos e serviços, relações com parceiros e dynamic capabilities da empresa, envolvendo diferentes setores e indústrias e gerando oportunidades para as estratégias de negócio. A questão central da pesquisa contempla o setor de telecomunicações, que pode ser considerado o segmento base no que diz respeito a digitalização devido a seu papel em disponibilização de sinais virtuais, no entanto, existe uma carência de pesquisas abordando este setor e as transformações digitais de seus processos de negócio. Por esse motivo a pesquisa propõe, em duas etapas, compreender conceitualmente a transformação digital e observar os fatores de sucesso, barreiras e resultados da transformação digital em processos de negócios, sendo a primeira etapa representada pela revisão sistemática da literatura e a segunda etapa com a realização de um estudo de caso em uma empresa nacional de telecomunicações contrastando os achados na literatura com o caso real. A contribuição da pesquisa é um melhor entendimento da digitalização dos processos de negócio do setor de telecomunicações e a formação de uma base de apoio a pesquisadores e gestores com relação aos principais achados.

[en] Innovations arising from digital transformation (DT) have been pursued by various sectors and have become the basis of society s new digital infrastructure. However, many concepts and definitions are presented for DT, making the understanding very confusing. In parallel to TD, there are digital technologies that have presented a new perspective for business strategies and processes, products and services, relationships with partners and dynamic capabilities of the company, involving different sectors and industries and generating opportunities for business strategies. The central question of the research contemplates the telecommunications sector, which can be considered the base segment with regard to digitization due to its role in the provision of virtual signals, however, there is a lack of research addressing this sector and the digital transformations of your business processes. For this reason, the research proposes, in two stages, to conceptually understand the digital transformation and observe the success factors, barriers and results of digital transformation in business processes, the first stage being represented by the systematic review of the literature and the second stage with the carrying out a case study in a national telecommunications company contrasting the findings in the literature with the real case. The contribution of the research is a better understanding of the digitization of business processes in the telecommunications sector and the formation of a support base for researchers and managers regarding the main findings.
