Resumo
[pt] Em A trégua, Primo Levi descreve o início da liberação de Auschwitz pela observação do olhar da patrulha soviética, o que marca o longo processo de abertura dos Lager, visto enfim pelo “mundo livre”. No texto, esse olhar dos quatro cavaleiros, mensageiros da paz, como escreve Levi, é tomado como um vetor para formularmos algumas questões, que vêm sendo continuamente refeitas nas últimas décadas, relativas à nossa experiência com as fotografias dos campos de extermínio.
Resumo
[en] In The Truce, Primo Levi describes the beginning
of the liberation of Auschwitz by observing the
gaze of the Soviet patrol, which marks the start of
the long process of uncovering the reality of the
Lager, seen at last by the free world. This view
of the four horsemen, messengers of peace, as
Levi writes, is taken as a vector that allows us to
question our experience with the photographs of
the extermination camps, something that has been
continually remade in recent decades.
