[pt] Este artigo foi produzido a partir da pesquisa de iniciação científica desenvolvida na FFLCH-USP com financiamento do Programa Unificado de Bolsas (PUB-USP) acerca da presença dos animais na produção contística de Clarice Lispector. Propõe-se uma leitura do conto Perdoando Deus, entendendo que ele se estrutura em três momentos, em que a narração do conto acompanha o périplo subjetivo da protagonista. Além disso, reflete-se a respeito da epifania que ocorre no conto e da importância do encontro com a alteridade animal grotesca no processo de subjetivação da personagem protagonista.

[en] This article was written as a result of the undergraduate research developed at FFLCH-USP, funded by the Programa Unificado de Bolsas (PUB-USP). It deals with the presence of animals in Clarice Lispector s short stories and proposes an interpretation of Perdoando Deus, taking as its starting point the fact that the short story is structured in three moments, in which the narration of the story follows the protagonist s subjective journey. In addition, this article reflects on the epiphany that occurs in the story and the importance the encounter with the animal s grotesque alterity plays in the main character s subjectivation process.
