[pt] Objetos educacionais são uma ferramenta poderosa no auxílio à educação, especialmente se usadas no contexto do ensino superior. Apesar de não existir consenso claro quanto a uma definição exata do que é um objeto educacional, o conceito é simples: uma coleção de componentes, digitais ou não, que auxiliam o processo de aprendizado, e que podem ser reutilizados e compartilhados. Com a evolução da tecnologia, a produção e proliferação de objetos educacionais digitais está crescendo, de maneira que vários recursos existem para catalogar e armazenar uma biblioteca cada vez maior de objetos, para os mais diversos assuntos e temas. A utilização de objetos educacionais é de extrema importância para a agilização do aprendizado em uma sociedade em que o tempo é cada vez mais precioso. Ao compactar conceitos, exemplos e teorias em formato simples e acessíveis, a eficiência do ensino é aumentada em muitas vezes, permitindo uma melhor utilização do tempo do aluno e um aprendizado mais competitivo. A teoria de circuitos elétricos lineares é um dos pilares do estudo da engenharia elétrica, de grande importância para todas as suas subáreas de conhecimento. Desse modo, tendo em vista a importância de objetos educacionais para o desenvolvimento da educação moderna, foi produzido um livro interativo, em si um objeto educacional, mas também contendo dentro de si subobjetos, cobrindo o conteúdo básico de circuitos elétricoslineares.

[en] Learning objects are a powerful tool for students and educators, especially if used in the context of higher education. Although there is no clear consensus on the exact definition of what a learning object is, the concept is simple: a collection of components, digital or not, that help the learning process, and that can be reused and shared. With the evolution of technology, the production and expansion of digital learning objects is growing, such that there are already several resources for indexing and archiving an ever-growing library of objects, targeted to the most diverse subjects and themes. The use of learning objects is of extreme importance to the speeding up of learning in a society where time is growing more precious every day. By compacting concepts, examples and theories in accessible and simple formats, the efficiency of the learning process is increased severalfold, allowing for a better usage of the student’s time and a more competitive learning process. The theory of linear electrical circuits is one of the pillars of study in Electrical Engineering, of great importance to all its sub-areas of knowledge. Therefore, in view of the value of learning objects for the development of modern education, an interactive book was produced, in itself a learning objects, but also containing several sub-objects within itself, covering all the basic subjects within linear electrical circuits.
