New trends in dealing with death: parties/funerals, digital medias, spectacle and personalization is the theme of this thesis which aims to examine the new trends in dealing with the loss and how people use the internet to reconfigure their expressions of affection, sadness, memories, tributes, especially in the most sensitive areas of life. Ways of making the end, the farewell of human beings, so much easier and less unpleasant as possible. The research also addresses the new configurations of funeral and new attitudes of man in front of death. The power investing in life, no more in death. Never talked so much in life about the interference of medicine and technology, so the disinvestment of death that becomes insignificant before an insatiable society for staying young and energized. Based on this observation, this thesis makes a reflection by examples of people who feed themselves by the relevance of human beings appreciation specially in the West and whose ideas about immortality, the fear before death and the life which recreates itself, or wants to recreate after death based on the technological universe. From this questioning this work will be based on an analysis of the media market of funeral companies that has invested and innovated its technological apparatus with the purpose of making the death hour less traumatic. In addition to using social networks, in this case Facebook, specialized sites and games, showing how this me absent or even the non-thinking become alive because, despite being deceased, has his identity (re) created by the representation and recognition of others, in order to preserve a digital heritage.
