Resumo:
|
Second order circuits are circuits that contain two independent energy storage elements. Second order circuits will be studied following the same order of topics as first order circuits – the first will be the homogeneous solution. The basic curcuit will be the RLC series circuit;it is made of a resistor, a capacitor and an inductor. In this class, the difference between the qualitative behaviour of first and second order circuits is presented. Second order circuits can have overdamped, underdamped and critically damped solutions.
