Resumo:
The fan member program is a tool in sports marketing designed to generate revenue for football clubs while concurrently fostering fan loyalty through the provision of benefits and advantages. Accordingly, this study examines these programs from the consumer perspective, focusing on the four major clubs in Rio de Janeiro: Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Fluminense Football Club, and Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama. The aim is to identify fan satisfaction and perceived benefits through a literature review and a quantitative survey involving members of the supporter programs of these teams.
