The Covid-19 pandemic brought global difficulties and the need for a change in the world. In the business sector, many companies are experiencing profitability problems, with the risk of closing. This raises a very important and pertinent theme for the moment: the urgency of a digital transformation. Retail companies need to be increasingly assertive in their strategic choices and the clustering process is one of the first steps in this plan. The objective of this work is to analyze how the design thinking methodology can help change this stage in fashion retail companies, mapping specific problems, bottlenecks and barriers in the digital transformation process. To validate this project, a prototype generated after immersion in the design thinking steps was used, since this method has been widely used in companies seeking innovation. As a result of this work, it is clear that there is a need for and a good acceptance of process change.
