Automation is always remembered in factories and industries, but in recent years this technology has started to arrive in rural areas, such as dairy farms. Foreign countries already have several innovative solutions, but the cost is a little out of the reality of most farms in Brazil. This project will present a viable solution for automation of dairy farms in Brazil based on a project by a Dutch company, Boumatic. For this purpose, Boumatic s equipment will be researched and analyzed, detailing its operation and the systems used to find a cost-effective solution for Brazilian characteristics. Alternative proposals will be proposed, and similar equipment will be designed using, as far as possible, components that can be found in the national market, aiming at tropicalization and customization to the needs of farms in Brazil.
