This article aims to describe how the process of mechanization was implemented in the company Mantiqueira, organization of the poultry industry, and its consequences on the number of employees, increase productivity and implementation of a professional management. This process arose from the company s need to gain scale to survive in a market with very low margins. The process was carried out in a continuous and gradual manner throughout the company and contributed to a growth that varied from 15 to 25 percent in the last 4 years, a product of better quality for the consumer and a higher quality of life and benefits for the employees.
