Resumo:
The Brazilian Oil Company Ipiranga acts in the retail sector of oil outputs. Jet Oil is a specialized net wich deals with oil replacement and maintenance. This study aims to identify and classify the variables which influence the purchase of Jet Oil products by costumers and analyze them. Also, it suggests policies for its marketing department. A qualitative method was used. The research includes three sections as follows: internal research / interview with employee, observation of clients at Jet Oil store and interviews in depth with costumers. The variables have been found and analysed in the results. The majority of the customers complained the price, however the quality and the attendance of the service had been more important. Great part of the customers was satisfied with the Jet Oil. Considering the current marketing actions and the findings of this qualitative research, other works can be conduced, in order to improve Jet Oil s performance.
